UPDATE

A message to our patients.

Dear patient,

 

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health.  Our community has certainly been through a lot over the past few months and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. We are excited to announce that our office will be reopening on Monday, May 18th. We felt it was important to wait an additional 14 days after the coronavirus projected peak in our area to allow for any incubation period. However, we want our patients to know that while many things have changed, one thing has remained the same-- our commitment to your safety.

 

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice as we hope you have noticed during your visits in the past. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it is both safe and comfortable. 

 

We would like to take the opportunity to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow to keep our patients and staff safe.

 

Our practice follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agency's recommendations. 

 

In order to further protect our patients, we have also made some temporary changes in our check in procedure.

 

  1. When you arrive for your appointment, please stay in your car as we try to keep our waiting room empty. Just call or text us upon your arrival and we will come out to get you when your appointment is ready.

  2. Please limit the number of people who enter the office to the patient and a guardian of children or elderly patients.

  3. We will then take your temperature and have a brief questionnaire about coronavirus. If you have a temperature above 100.4, we will need to reschedule your appointment for a later date. (ALL of our staff is screened daily as well for your safety.)

  4. All appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients.
